What is the first aid course
General course description
Standard training consists of theory combined with hands-on exercises. The short lectures that are conducted during the course concern:
- Own security.
- Legal grounds.
- Motivation to help.
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation in adults and children.
- Body fixation in lateral position.
- Airway obstruction (choking).
- Use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).
- Treat wounds, hemorrhages, burns, and fractures.
- Emergencies, such as fainting, epilepsy, stroke, heart attack, diabetes.
Before the participants start the exercises, the instructor shows all the activities in detail, so that each student knows what to do at the moment.

Practice – step by step
- EXERCISE 1. Adult resuscitation performed by each participant individually, in pairs, and later in the exercises with the use of an automatic AED defibrillator.
- EXERCISE 2. Safe side position performed by each participant. During the exercises, instructors give examples of people who may become unconscious.
- EXERCISE 3. Rescue for a choked person. Each exercise is supported by experienced and a specific example of the instructor’s work.
- EXERCISE 4. Choking can happen in children, let’s be prepared for such a situation by participating in the exercises.
- EXERCISE 5. Cardiac arrest in children, management with an automatic external defibrillator.
- EXERCISE 6. Stop hemorrhage, treat wounds, etc.
- EXERCISE 7. Management of fractures, sprains, and sprains.
- EXERCISE 8. Procedure in the event of a car accident.
You will also get acquainted with the actions for burns, frostbite, electric shock. The students learn to identify heart attacks, diabetes, and epilepsy. The participants of the training can cope with any situation because you never know what can happen on the road.
